Outdoor Activity Leader Courses
Hands on professional training so you can safely deliver outdoor learning & bushcraft sessions with confidence, understanding and provide your pupils with social, emotional & development strategies.
As a teacher or teaching assistant you already have the skills in child development and lesson planning and strategies. With our course we teach you to develop your outdoor skills and increase or develop confidence in this exciting and enriching area of learning.
You will learn from a dedicated team of professional that deliver hands on training in schools.
You will also earn accredited certificates including First Aid, Food Hygiene & Fire safety that are included as it makes your children safe!
This course has been approved for CPD and with yearly update sessions you will never be undertrained!

- Tree identification and uses
- Ongoing, help and support
Ideal for those wanting to use the outdoors to assist with nurture or social emotional delivery.
Outdoor Activity Leader Fundamental
Outdoor Training: 3 Days
Emergency FAAW: 1 Day
Course comprises:
- Induction to Bushcrafters
- Effective shelter construction
- Tree identification and uses
- General fire lighting and fire management
- String making
- Confident handling of tools
- Water purification
- Direction finding
- Fire marshal training
- First aid certificate
- Ongoing assessment, help and support
Ideal for those who have existing outdoor leader experience or those that want to deliver a deeper knowledge.
Outdoor Activity Leader Advanced
Outdoor Training: 6 Days
Activity First Aid: 2 Days

As an outdoor activity leader it is essential that you keep up to date and stay safe while delivering your sessions. Our yearly meet up helps keep CPD updated and skills honed. This includes the recommended HSE annual referesher for first aid.

First aid for outdoor activity leaders. First Aid is an essential part of any outdoor training. The recommended HSE annual refresher forms part of the recommended yearly update of skills.
